About Starlight Learning

Starlight Learning is unique as it is led by qualified practicing teachers. We are one of the few tuition centres in the local area whose tutors are actually qualified teachers. Unlike other tuition centres, we as teachers have the classroom experience to fully understand the learning styles of children, curriculum requirements and learning expectations. We recognise that no two children learn the same and our experiences as teachers allows us to be flexible and adaptable to your child’s needs. We are able to adapt our teaching style to suit your child’s needs and do not believe it is one size fits all.

We both have over ten years teaching experience across the two key stages and thorough knowledge of the requirements for end of year expectations. As qualified teachers, we will work with your child to build on existing concepts, build new ones, make links between learning and support your child in areas in which they may be struggling.

Starlight Learning will offer your child focussed and precise teaching at a pace that is appropriate for them. We will use creative and interesting teaching methods to engage children and allow them to enjoy learning. We will make learning fun in a small group setting and encourage children to support, engage and challenge one other. At Starlight Learning one of our aims is to ensure children have a love for learning and we want to encourage this by motivating them and engaging them in meaningful lessons.

Starlight Learning is matched to the National Curriculum objectives and will follow your child’s year group requirements. It is designed to work alongside school teaching and support ongoing work occurring in the classroom. Both of our teachers have had previous tutoring experience with small groups and also private tuition.
